  • Not worth buying
Bought this highly discussed DSLR D90 With Lens with great hopes. Its just good for still shooting. Has very limited options for videography and video processing features are really pathetic. Not recommended.
  • Highly recommended
Highly recommended camera for the passionate photographers. Nikon manage to meet the standard it has been setting so far with this powerful DSLR camera. Solid built, great AF features – 11 Point AF system and comes with super 18-105mm lenses, that is sufficient for most of still shoot requirements, impressive shutter mechanism. This is simply the best in the price range.
  • tough for novice photographers
DSLR D90 With Lens 18-105mm can be slightly tough for novice photographers to handle. It is complex to operate. Too heavy to be portable esp on long trips. Also after using this complete set, I have other lenses that can focus better and closer than this 18-105mm. Slow focusing in dull lights. There is no provision for RAW conversion, I think the video processing is still in its nascent stage and need to improved a lot if Nikon wants to beat the competition. For me, it gave some tough time with poor battery back up, with many incidence when I had to manage somehow shooting with camera in low battery at the nick of the time. Would recommend you to check the features and standard user reviews thoroughly before deciding to buy this camera.
  • Worth Investment
I am really happy to share my great experience with this excellent DSLR camera, and would appreciate Nikon for managing to retain their reputation and quality with every product they launch. I bought this camera before going for an overseas trip to Mauritius. Got some impeccable and best quality photos of the beautiful landscape, with the right color balance without any frizz. Has some great autofocus features, high image stabilization capability, and even in low light conditions the images doesn’t lose significant details. Best investment for a lifetime. In the box I got , a solid Camera body, Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (EN-EL3e), Quick Charger MH-18a, USB Cable UC-E4, Video Cable EG-D2, Camera Strap AN-DC1, Body Cap BF-1A, Accessory Shoe Cover BS-1, LCD Monitor Cover BM-10, Software Suite CD-ROM, User Manual.
