Not the best Nikon product!
Well, this is the problem of buying cheap products without knowing whether it will suit you or not. I recently bought this Nikon D3200 as I was tight on funds but really needed a decent camera as a replacement. Not still a week, yet I am starting to regret my decision. Since the compact camera is designed ergonomically the features are distributed rather tightly. There are some confusions with the buttons, sometimes I press the LV button by mistake which consumed most of the battery’s life. The ‘play’ button is placed on the wrong side since I have to use a second hand to press play
Perfect for beginners
I recently bought this Nikon D3200 DSLR camera for work purpose and it works perfectly. I am a first time DSLR user but since the camera is ergonomically built, I did not find any trouble while going through it. Now, I can shoot pictures like some trained and professional photographers. The picture and video quality this compact camera offers is excellent. Even the pictures taken in low lit conditions without flash comes out decent. The battery can be recharged and the battery’s life is good. So, what more can I say except to recommend it to other beginners’ who is looking for a decent camera.
Not for serious Photographers
Recently bought this Nikon D3200 for myself since my other camera got spoilt at work. Bought hastily since the price was reasonable but regretted the decision as it did not meet my requirements. There are some odd colours on the LCD screen which can be confusing and annoying sometime. The pictures taken at night are not that clear and the blurriness ruins the whole pictures. It is portable but it is troublesome without the thread to hold the lens cover. Carrying in the pocket gets boring and sometimes risk the cover losing it. But without the cover after use, the lens is opened to dust and it is easy to get spoilt. Additional cotton strap is mandatory for the camera nylon strap, else the neck gets itchy when the camera is carried for long time. The camera also lacks built-in AF motor or aperture feeler for manual-focus lenses. It might be ideal for beginners who are just learning the trade of photography but it’s not for serious photographers like me. At its best, I rate 2 stars for the camera and would not recommend it to any professionals’ photographers.
Cheap but effective!
I bought this Nikon DSLR D3200 after saving for a long time, and well, to be honest I am quite pleased with its performance. The camera is highly portable with ergonomic controls for a comfortable and compact feel. The 24.1 MP camera resolution offers HD pictures and videos recording. I was quite surprised with the clarity of pictures taken even in low lit conditions at high ISOs. The shutter speed is fast and the sound is quiet. It is equipped with 4 fps burst speed for clear and perfect pictures during continuous shots. It even has a stereo mic jack and this TFT LCD screen camera comes with CMOS sensor type. It is also compatible with the new wireless mobile adapter, WU-1a for easy sharing and it can also be controlled with a remote control via an Android phone. Also compatible with other wired and wireless remotes. The battery life is decent and the lithium ion batteries can be recharged. It is cheap and ideal for beginner shutterbugs like me so I rate 4.5 stars and recommends it to everyone.
